UHRES Display

The most enigmatic part of AGA chips to me, seems to be UHRES display. According to Commodore manuals it has a single DMA channel; 1 bitplane, 1 sprite. Unfortunately, my knowledge on this matter ends here, so if you have experimented with it and you have any interesting information to share, feel free to do so =).
